Definition of Sustainability

I think we can substitute the word wealth for sustainability in the definition. Just maybe- wealth and sustainability mean the same thing. I can't think of a difference. I'll look into definitions written by others. I haven't read any of them so far.

In the Intro. section, Michael says there is an operational definition for each of the five principles. Are these operational definitions available?

Operational/policy

Operational/policy implications are contained in the bullet points which follow each one of the principles. They are derived from each principle (hence "implications") and hint at directions for action.

For example, "strivibg for highest resource productivity" in the material domain; "Shaping land use patterns to reduce human encroachment on other forms of life" in the domain of life, and so forth.

The list of such policy and operational implications, for each principle could probably be extended and it would be wonderful if participants in the dialogue could contribute more items thus extending the list.
