Policy & Operational Implications

Are the Policy and Operational Implications inclusive? Could you suggest additional ones? Could you suggest examples of best practices for any?

wealth

hi D,
listen i was right when i said 30 trillion dollar is the GNP-
quadrlion is i think 15 zeros=
why bother by that all you need to do is triblle this even
doubling this amount will take care of everybody-

the problem i think is we dont have the knowldge about the
intricacy of the system or l ack of it (fuller saying)-
no one knows what the next person is doing- in banks- in
insurance. buracracy, oil co,mpanies ext..
no wonder everyone looks stuned by their situation
and special if they are poor- were they cant even think-

two areas were dollars spent is wasted 90% of it -
is accounting( too much accounting, and communiction
doubling of effort or let us say trillionning of effort-
i have not read much about it, it just a thought i had
when i walk up one day last week-

i am looking for a book with the title flat earht somthing
about economics i saw once but i forgot the title-

quadrillion dollars

wonderful! this has a quality of tensile strength about it ...
it pulls one forward into a state of mental attention...have been wondering for some time what percentage of sustainable energy wealth potential electrical currency is represented by the existing total monetary currency? Still 0ne four millionth of point zero one percent? (re. Critital Path ,R.B.F ).

electron as currency (current-cy)

Brent- What page is that on in Critical Path?

Quantum accounting of wealth. How much does a Coulomb cost?

Bucky also talked about the cost of a pound of light somewhere.

I can see an accounting system accounting for physical reality but how does one account for the weightless metaphysical reality?

for now

The reference made is found in the introduction to Critical Path pagexvii, bottom of page;fourth paragraph.(context;total renewables)

"Humanity's present rate of total energy consumption amounts to only one four millionth of one percent of the rate of it's energy income."RBF

As to my problem imagery ,sorry about it,some rigor may hopefully be restored on page xxxiv Critical Path.

"Time -energy world accounting system will be expressed in kilowatt hours ,watt hours, and watt-seconds of work.RBF

quadrillion

----natural, human, social, manufactured and financial capital---

I am looking and waiting for the phrase quadrillion-dollars to appear somewhere. It might first show up at the world banks website. It's just a matter of time until a quadrillion dollars isn't surprising to people(if it hasn't happened already).

Does anyone know how much global capital there is this year?

I found that the WB says the 2002 world gross domestic product is about $32 trillion dollars.

We can say that this is a five percent return on our total capital, or 6.4x10^14 dollars, more than one-half quadrillion dollars. We're getting there!

If we divide this number by the world population, it comes to about $100,000 each!
